反美主義是對美國的政府、人民或者其生活方式的強烈反感甚至仇恨。反美主義包含了很多其他內容，例如反美情緒，政治（反帝國主義），經濟（反資本主義），宗教（反基督教或反世俗），文化（反好萊塢）或者道德（反對西方的價值觀）。不論是美國人或否都可能有反美主義傾向。
只有當個人或團體將這些因素看成是普遍到已經影響其本身的價值觀時才稱為反美主義。
反美主義可以是對美國的不滿以及不認同（像很多歐洲人所表現出的那樣），或者極端的針對美國的暴力活動（例如恐怖分子）。造成反美情緒的原因各不相同，有些甚至是完全相反。

19世纪末期，由于东欧的迫害加剧，成千上万的犹太人逃离此地，大多数投奔美国、加拿大和西欧。到1924年，共有大约两百万犹太人移民至美国，因当时美国社会对待犹太族群的态度相比东欧而言更加宽容。欧洲对犹太人的迫害终于在希特勒德国时期达到顶峰，发生了灭绝约600万犹太人的大屠杀，几乎彻底摧毁犹太人在欧洲2000年的文化历史沉淀。
1948年年以色列国建立，是自罗马摧毁耶路撒冷后近2000年来第一个成立的犹太人国度，并人为复兴口语希伯来语的正式使用。但以色列建国的地点是在巴勒斯坦地区，导致和当地定居已久的阿拉伯裔巴勒斯坦人矛盾激化，使中东成为世界的热点地区，并致使原先居住在阿拉伯国家的近90万犹太人也陷入困境。
到21世纪初，美国和以色列是犹太人的主要集中地。犹太人也在美国社会的政治、经济、文化领域积攒了很大的势力。

Zionism is a political movement and an ideology that supports a Jewish homeland in the Land of Israel, where the Jewish nation originated and where Jewish kingdoms and self governing states existed at various times in history. While Zionism is based heavily upon religious tradition linking the Jewish people to the Land of Israel, the movement was originally secular, beginning largely as a response to rampant antisemitism in late 19th century Europe. The Zionist movement acquired British and League of Nations sponsorship after World War I, resulting in the creation of the British Mandate of Palestine, which specifically called for “placing the country under such political, administrative and economic conditions as will secure the establishment of the Jewish national home.” After an often tumultuous Mandate period, and after the Holocaust had destroyed Jewish society in Europe, the Zionist movement culminated in the founding of the State of Israel in 1948.
Since the founding of the State of Israel, “Zionism” has come generally to mean support for Israel. However, a variety of different, and sometimes competing, ideologies that support Israel fit under the general category of Zionism, such as Religious Zionism, Revisionist Zionism and Labour Zionism. Thus, the term is also sometimes used to refer specifically to the programs of these ideologies, such as efforts to encourage Jewish immigration to Israel. The label Zionist is also used improperly as a euphemism for Jews in general by those wishing to white-wash anti-Semitism (as in the Polish anti-Zionist campaign) or for Jews who are alleged by anti-Semites to be part of a conspiracy to dominate the world.

法西斯主义（意大利语fascismo）是浪漫-极权主义革命热情的主要政治表现。这个名称起源于1919年3月23日在米兰成立的“战斗法西斯”（il Fascio di Combattimento），这是一个反社会主义的民间军事组织。而Fascio一词，则来源于拉丁文Fascis，拉丁文原义是指“捆在一起的一束棍棒，中间插一柄斧头，是古罗马高官的权力标志，象征着万众团结一致，服从一个意志，一个权力”。因此“战斗法西斯”采用了古罗马执政官前放置的棒束作为标志和名称。

三民主義是　國父孫中山先生領導與致力中國革命的標的，也是中華民國憲法中開宗明義規定的立國原則或「國是」。國父手著「中國革命史」中有謂：「余之從事革命，建主義以為標的。」中華民國憲法第一條即為：「中華民國基於三民主義，為民有、民治、民享之民主共和國。」三民主義的意義如此重要，故有分項說明的必要。
